VDR / SVDR APT
Voyage data recorder, or VDR, is a data recording system designed for vessels required to comply with the IMO andSOLAS Requirements in order to collect data from various sensors on board the vessel. Since these systems are an important element in the analysis of accidents or near misses, it is imperative that they are always in order and able to record the required data. to ensure this, Annual Performance Tests (APTs) are mandatory to be carried out.
APTs can be performed by engineers trained and authorized by the manufacturer. Master Systems are having trained and authorized engineers for the following famous (S)VDR manufacturers.
