The YOUNG Model 86000 Ultrasonic Anemometer measures horizontal wind speed and direction. This lightweight and compact sensor features durable, corrosion-resistant construction with sensitive ultrasonic transducers secured in a streamlined molded frame. Each sensor is fully wind tunnel tested and calibrated to provide accurate wind measurement over a wide operating range. The standard sensor features RS-232 and RS-485 serial outputs in a variety of formats.
